Hi Robert. I've been enjoying the conversations you're starting over on Facebook at the Direct Marketing Revolution group, so thanks for stopping by.

This is a topic I am very passionate about because it really is something that so many corporations are lacking. The ability to digest the progress that we're moving through.

Thanks again for the comment.

Keith, that was a beautiful post. I hope you keep speaking out on this topic. You could make quite a difference. Have you thought about giving seminars on this?

Fred, so glad you are already checking in! Nimble is the name of the game today and for the foreseeable future. I don't see that changing.

The "e"volution is over. Same with "i" stuff, except the iPod which I think has taken the "i" for good. And most "i's" with it.

I'm going to try and keep up the pace. Tomorrow I'll be seeking some feedback in general on future topics, etc. Thanks again for checking in.

Two things that stand out for me in your post:

1. Nimble - I can't tell you how many times I've used that word as the mantra for systems that support marketing. It's got to be easier than some folks want to admit.

2. To bring IT and Marketing together, I started to try and get the "e" away from "eMarketing" or "eSales" or "eBusiness" and embed it into the discipline so it's not "e" as a separate thought. There already is an "e" in MarkEting, SalEs, and BusinEss - the trick is to get it to become part of the fabric, not a prefix. And, man, that can be tough.

Keep cranking them out Keith!

Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it. My goal is to publish at least 2-3 times a week. I will be soliciting feedback from readers very soon about future topics you might like for me to cover or dissect.
